Turtle Valley to see road improvements

Work is scheduled to begin in September and finish sometime in October of this year.

Turtle Valley is slated to see road improvements this fall.

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure has announced upgrade work will be done on five side roads off Squilax Anglemont Road. The roads include Turtle Valley Road, Black Mountain Road, Bailey Road, Skimikin Road and Hepburn Road. Improvements to be made include grading, gravelling and drainage as well as base improvements.

“We heard loud and clear that the conditions of these roads need to be improved which is why we’re making this a top priority,” said Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Todd Stone in a June 27 media release. “We are committed to keeping our side-road network in good condition.”
