Alan died peacefully at the Piccadilly Park Place senior's home on Monday, June 25th, 2018. He was 88 years old. Alan was predeceased by his wife Marjorie (Marnie) Foulkes and eldest daughter Tracy Hewitt.
He is survived by two remaining daughters Dalyce Comm of Calgary, Alberta and Heather Salusbury of Irvine, California, whom were with him in his final days. He is also survived by his grand and great grandchildren.
Alan was born in Vancouver and grew up in the Roberts Creek and Sechelt areas of coastal British Columbia. He was the eldest of four brothers, of whom Vincent Foulkes and Paul Foulkes survive him. He will be missed.
He served in the Royal Canadian Airforce from 1952 to 1980 and remained an aviation enthusiast all his life. After leaving the Air Force, Alan and Marnie spent five years travelling the country in their 5th wheel before settling for retirement in Salmon Arm.
