It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and loving husband of Beb.
Dad immigrated from England in 1951 and by 1952 had brought the Dutch “girl of his dreams” to Port Mellon on the B.C. coast, married her and settled down to raise a family. Seven children, twenty two grandchildren and six great grandchildren followed and survive to this day. The family moved to Prince George in 1965 and after retirement moved to the Salmon Arm area in 1992. Dad’s interests were all encompassing but his passion was always “the kids”.
Dad’s passing leaves a great void in our lives. We will miss him always.
A memorial service for Alec was held on Friday November 19, 2010 at 2:00 pm from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Salmon Arm.
