Allan Andrews passed away the afternoon of Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Hillside Village in Salmon Arm with family by his side.
Allan was born December 20, 1936, in Salmon Arm, the third child of Thomas and Phyllis Andrews. Allan was raised in Canoe, and lived his entire life in Salmon Arm, raising a family and building a business. He was very active in sports throughout his life, including lacrosse, hockey and golf which he passed on to his children and grandchildren. One of 'the Bears' favorite places to be was at the Lake with family and friends. Al's gruff exterior covered a huge heart with a soft spot for those around him.
Allan is survived by his wife Karen, children Brent (Christine), Carole (Marc), Deedee (Malcolm) and Keith; grandchildren Tyler (Danielle), Erik (Janna), Tishanna, Sydney, Seth and Kelsey. He was predeceased by his wife Verna (1987) and his grandson Rees (2010).
The family would like to thank all the staff of Hillside Village, Bungalow 5, for their excellent care.
Celebration of life for Allan Andrews April 27th 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Elk Hall.
