Anne Dearing

Anne Dearing passed away peacefully at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm, BC on October 17, 2007 at the age of 87 years.

Anne was born in Schmeidshau (Tuzina), Czechoslovakia on October 26, 1919 and had resided in Sorrento since 1991. Anne was a lady who wanted to be where the action was and experienced this until her last day when she had a stroke while being on a project with her husband. She lived her life as in the Hank Snow song, “I’ve been everywhere, man.”

Anne will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, Keith; two sons, Lorie Boyd (Ranee) of Portland and Dale Bruce (Jannie) of Saudi Arabia; six grandchildren, Jill Mack, Mark Dearing, Candi Douglass, Kelli Douglass, Scott Dearing and Robin Dearing; and one sister, Margaret Kandt. She was predeceased by her daughter, Mavis Douglass in September, 2006.

A funeral service will be held from the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home, Salmon Arm on Sunday, October 28th, at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Bob Tetz

officiating.
