Anne was born Feb. 17, 1935 in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. She immigrated to Canada at the age of 18 to be married to her fiance, Bart. That was the start of nearly 60 years of being an immigrant dairy farmer's wife. She fulfilled her roles of wife, mother of 7, homemaker, and all around helper on the farm. Her husband died 6 years ago, two months short of their reaching sixty years of marriage.
Anne died on September 30 in Bastion Place. She was ready to meet her Heavenly Father and passed away peacefully.
Anne is survived by 7 children, 28 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at the Vernon Canadian Reformed Church, 5600 MacDonald Rd., Vernon, BC on Friday, October 4th at 2 pm.
