It is with great sadness that the family of Ann announces her sudden passing at home in Salmon Arm on Monday, April 08, 2013.

Ann is survived by her loving husband John her 5 children: Jo-Ann (Tracy) , Marc(Sherry), David (Valerie), Willard (Lisa) and Susan, her11 grand children; Tim, Amy, Tanya, Chrystal, Alex, Kayla, Krissy, Matthew, Jonathan, Teagan and Kierra and great-grand child Erik, her sisters; Olga, Kay and Mary, brother; Myron and her many nephews and friends near and far. She is predeceased by her parents; Katie and John and granddaughter Sarah.

Ann was born in Myrnam, AB and was raised in the Beauvallon, AB area where her parents farmed. Her schooling was taken in Stoney Rapid and Beauvallon after which she went to work in Vermillion where she met John. They married in March 1958 in Kimberley, BC where their 5 children were born. In 1969 they moved to Pine Point, NWT where they lived for 19 years before coming back to BC upon John’s retirement.

Ann and John spent the next 25 years in Blind Bay enjoying their well deserved retirement. In 2012 they moved into Salmon Arm.

Ann will be missed more than words can say.

A Celebration of Life Service for Ann was held on Monday April 15, 2013 at 11:00 am from Bowers Funeral Chapel, a reception followed in the Mountainside Room where friends and Family continued to share memories. Donations in memory of Ann can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
