Born January 21, 1924 in Toronto Ontario and died July 24, 2019 in Salmon Arm BC at the fantastic age of 95 years.
Annie was predeceased by her parents Alice and Neil Rankin, her brother Albert (Ivy), her ex- husband Melville and her son Arnold.
Annie leaves her daughter Janice (Peter), her granddaughter Jasmine (Ernesto) and her grandson Matthew (Hazzily) as well as three great grandchildren Jacquelyn, Abbegail and Mason.
Annie's first love was to shop, and she had a knack for finding some of the very most quirky decorations. As a professional packrat she never threw anything away because she could make a craft out of it. Annie's second love was to have a good time visiting with family and friends. She jumped at any opportunity to travel. This would mean different stores to shop in.
She had a passion for the aquatic arts (aquafit) at the local pool and delighted in the socializing at Tim Hortons after the class. She kept this up until she turned 90 years. She had an artistic eye and natural flare for gardening. Not sure if anyone noticed that green thumb she had.
She was loved and cherished and will be missed by all her family and friends.
A big Thank you to all the Care Aides at Pioneer Lodge, all the Staff at Piccadilly Care Centre and Dr. Juliann Aitchison for their care and attention to Anne's needs.
