Ardith(Nakagawa) Nakamura, loved and devoted mother and grandmother, passed away on July 11, 2008. Ardith, who was born in Salmon Arm, will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her two daughters Debra and Sherry, two grandsons Damien and Rainier, her siblings Hama, Kay, Audrey and Harry as well as many nieces and nephews. Ardith was predeceased by her siblings Mike, Marjorie and May.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Burnaby Palliative Care Unit and Burnaby Home Health Community, and the medical team of the BC Cancer Agency/Fraser Valley for their outstanding care and support.
No service by request. A private celebration of life will be held in the summer and internment will be at Mt. Ida Cemetery.
