April 15, 1937 - April 19, 2020
The family of Elizabeth Rose Klein wishes to announce her peaceful passing on 19 April 2020 in Salmon Arm B.C. at the age of 83. Betty was born 15 April1937 in Vancouver B.C. to Richard and Rose Jarvis. She married Tony Klein on 18 May 1956 and had many wonderful adventures together over 53 years. They worked together owning and running a foriegn car repair business
in Vancouver and then Cherokee Resort on Mara Lake. They also played together dancing, card parties, gambling, golfing and travelling. They were very social friendly people and made many dear friends near and far. Betty was a long time member of the Vernon Kennel club. She was a breeder and raised Dalmations, Standard Poodles, Pomeranians, Miniature Pinschers,
Papillons among others. She loved the dog show ring environment and was proud of her many accomplishments raising champion show dogs and winning many ribbons.
She is lovingly remembered by her sons and their families: Terry & Cathy Klein-Crystal & Jim Piggott (Brandon, Mikayla) Londa & Dustin Livingstone (Mason, Ava) Darla &Dillon Uhlenberg (Adysen, Jacob, Jaelyn). Bryan & Brenda Klein-Philip & Ashley Klein (Kruiz) Joey & Kristina Klein. Wayne & Jamie Klein-Reese Klein, Jessica Klein. Sister in law Brenda Jarvis - her
children Lisa, Lynda, Leslie and their families.
Betty was the last of her generation. Predeceased by both parents, brothers Tom and John, her daughter Kim and then her beloved husband Tony in 2009.
Thank You to Dr Jeremy Martin Sawatzsky for his kindness and care. All the staff at Parkview Pickadilly for the good care given to Mom. Also to Ester and the crew at Abbeyfield House in Armstrong for the wonderful 2 years she lived there.
Cremation will occur and a celebration of Mom's life in the future to be announced.
