Beverly Anne “Bev” Harris passed suddenly in Salmon Arm, B.C., on January 25th. She was born on January 12, 1954 in Rossland, B.C. and attended schools in B.C.

Bev later graduated from SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary) as a HRT (Health Record Technician). She worked in the Health Record Department as a coder in both the Bow Valley and Peter Lougheed Centres (formerly the Calgary General Hospital).

She also housed many foreign students who came to Canada to learn to speak English as a second language while she served many exotic meals.

She is survived by her mother Dorothy M. Boyle (Salmon Arm), husband Fred Gooding (Calgary) twins Janine and Jeffrery Johnson (Calgary) stepson Christopher Gooding (U.S.) and many cousins and friends.

There will be a memorial service in May and internment in Arlington National Cemetery.
