Brenda Lynne Nisse

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Nisse, nee Fletcher, on May 5, 2019 at the age of 70 years.
Brenda was predeceased by her mother, Antonia Fletcher and more recently by her late husband of 50 years, Werner Nisse, only two months ago.
Brenda leaves behind her children, Derek (Kristie) Nisse and Kevin Nisse; her father, Leo Richard Fletcher; sisters, Debbie, Regena and Jennifer; brother, Rick; and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren; Aiden (Jen), Brayden, Cole, Kailyn, Jakob, Tatum and great granddaughter, Harper.
Brenda was born in Edmonton, Alberta on May 3, 1949 and was the eldest of 5 children. The Fletcher family moved to Kelowna in 1965. Brenda grew up in Kelowna and eventually met her husband to be, Werner, and this is where their story began with the birth of their two sons, Derek and Kevin. They moved to Salmon Arm in 1976 to raise their family. Brenda enjoyed watching and being part of the “hockey world” with both her sons. They were her pride and joy.
Brenda worked for Forestry in Salmon Arm for years and enjoyed catering at various events on the side. She retired prior to moving back to Kelowna in 2000.
Brenda is now at peace and is back in the loving arms of her soul mate but will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.
