Broonita (Bruna) passed away peacefully in Salmon Arm, B.C. at the young age of 79. Broonita is lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her daughter, Tamiko Lagerwaard, her son-in law, Mike Carroll, her beloved dog, Peppie, and her loving family in New Zealand. Many heart-felt thanks to the staff at Bastion Place who went above and beyond and showed true humanitarianism. Also, many thanks to the Salmon Arm SPCA, who showed such care and compassion in an emergency. She is pre-deceased by her husband. Broonita loved to garden, cook, bake, and most of all share the bounty of these loves with all around her. What we have perishes; what we are survives beyond time and space. Broonita’s generous heart and spirit will remain with us always.
