It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loving and much adored Wife, Mother, Nan, Sister and Aunt, Carol Margaret Ellis (nee Petersen) on August 10, 2011 at the age of 75 years. Survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Merv and her family - Children Val, Cathie (Glen), Guy (Kim), Doug (Karen), Robyn (Bob), John and Colleen. Grandchildren Jillian (Kyle), Laura, Matt (Laura), Marshall, Paul, Andrea, Kaedrin, Taylor, Sean & Ashleigh. Brothers Bob (Donna) and Jim (Mandy) as well as many nephews & nieces, cousins and her cherished friends. A celebration of life was held August 17, 2011 at North Shushwap Christian Fellowship Church in Scotch Creek, B.C. at 1:00 p.m. with a private burial held in Celista, B.C. The family would like to thank the Intensive Care Unit staff at both Kamloops Hospital and Vancouver General Hospital for their kind, caring and compassionate support.
