August 8, 1925 - May 22, 2024
In loving memory ~
Dudley passed away in Vernon, B.C. on Wednesday May 22, 2024 in his 99th year. He will be dearly missed by his children Don, Wendy, Deb, Brenda (Rob); grandchildren Jason (Maja), Sara, Steven; great grandchildren Ayana, Saya and Tristan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Also missing Dudley are his many friends; including Norm and Judy Low, Rudy Isaac as well as Ron and Marilyn Simpson. He was predeceased by his wife Wilma in 2012.
A long time resident of Sicamous B.C., Dudley was actively involved with the curling and golfing communities. He was most proud of his participation in the surveying of the former Hyde Mountain Golf course (as well as his 4 holes in one). Of course, he always enjoyed a rum which had to be Lambs Navy on the "19th" hole! He was also well known for his yodelling while listening to Wilf Carter on his deck.
A surveyor for most of his life, from Billings Montana to Yellowknife and everywhere in between, he could often be heard singing the song "I've been everywhere man".
A well loved and wonderful, wonderful man; he will be dearly missed.
Celebration of life will be announced at a later date
