It is with deep sadness that the family of Charlene Diane Lindgren announce her sudden passing on Saturday, March 29, 2008.

Charlene was born in Abbotsford on July 31, 1959, to Elwin and Diane Kelly. While working as a full-time dental receptionist for over 25 years in the communities she and her family lived in, Charlene also found time to be actively involved in many home based businesses, charity and community events. She was a lady that could truly craft loving and lasting relationships in a heartbeat. Her warm smile and bubbly personality were always there for everyone she met.

Charlene is survived by her husband and soul mate, Mark Lindgren; her cherished sons, Josh and Jerrit; and a multitude of family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at the Gathering Place (Broadview Evangelical Free Church) on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Capreece Bowers and Pastor David Penner officiating.

Being that Charlene was so involved with the community, her family has created the Charlene Lindgren Minor Football Memorial Fund as a way for her to keep on giving to the community. 100% of the proceeds will go towards supporting local football teams and players. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at Charlene’s Celebration of Life or to a special account set-up for this purpose at Salmon Arm Savings and Credit Union.
