February 25, 1934 - January 19, 2019
We would like to celebrate the life of our father, husband, family member, and friend, Clarence Raymond Juell, who passed peacefully in his home in Salmon Arm on January 19, 2019.

Clarence is survived by his wife Faith, children Janice, Lewis, Darwin (Sandra) and Josephene (Scott), 7 grandchildren, siblings Ethel (Dan), Roy (Mildred), Art (Marlene), Clara, and Iona (Garry). He is predeceased by his parents Ralph and Ruth Juell, siblings Kathleen (Henry), Barbara (Bob), and Leslie.

Clarence was born on February 25, 1934, in Pouce Coupe, BC and attended school in Doe River, BC. He married Elaine Faith Lowery in 1962. He primarily grain farmed in Alberta near Doe River, with varied jobs in snowplowing, construction on Vancouver island, and all things mechanical. They welcomed 4 kids into their family, and frequently maintained a farm with cattle, and animals. He enjoyed baseball, music, and family in his free time. In 1982, Clarence and Faith moved their family to Salmon Arm BC, with Clarence continuing to farm up North before retiring to their hobby farm. His children remember him as a social, engaging, hard working, kind, principled, and patient man who supported and championed them in their life pursuits.

Clarence loved playing horseshoes-including travels to the BC Seniors games, playing his guitar, coffee or tea with friends, visits with his grandchildren, and could usually be found tinkering in the garage, tearing apart an engine, or working on his children's vehicles. He was often helping neighbours and in the past volunteered as a driver for Seniors. One of his favourite activities was travelling to various states and warmer countries especially to see good music shows.

A funeral service is scheduled for February 2, 2019 @ 1:30 pm at Bowers Funeral Home, Salmon Arm, BC. Following this service will be a brief interment and then a reception at Bower's Mountainside Room. There is also a viewing to be held February 1, 2019 from 5:30-6:00 pm. All are welcome to attend to celebrate Clarence's life. Donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
