Cody Davies

October 15, 2007

On October 15, 2007 a tragic accident took place at Adams Lake Lumber taking the life of Cody Davies at 22 years of age. He was the youngest son of Craig and Betty, and treasured brother of Brad and Ryan Davies.

On Saturday, October 20, 2007 friends and family gathered to celebrate Cody’s life. He will be deeply missed by all who remember his radiant smile.

Cody was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta, September 4, 1985 and moved to Sorrento with his family at age five. He grew up helping his family at the store and graduated from Salmon Arm Senior Secondary in 2003. He spent many days boating on the lake and snowmobiling in the mountains. His love of spending time with friends was very important to him.

He played an active role on the Shuswap Lake Volunteer Fire Department and was proud to be a part of the fire team. He loved playing in the Sorrento Slow Pitch league and enjoyed biking with his friends.

Cody enjoyed life to the fullest and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Donations can be made in loving memory of Cody, to either the Shuswap Lake Hospital for the CT Scanner or to a scholarship set up by the Shuswap Lake Volunteer Fire Department for a student entering the emergency services field.

The family would like to sincerely thank everyone for sharing their sorrow and offering support. Your thoughtfulness is appreciated and will always be remembered.
