June Charlotte Collins passed peacefully at home in Canoe, BC on August 30, 2011 at the age of 77 years. She has been a resident of Canoe since 1987. June was born in Melville Saskatchewan on June 08, 1934.
A funeral service was held at Bowers Funeral Home, Salmon Arm, on September 04, 2011 with interment at Mt. Ida cemetery. June was laid to rest beside her husband Eddie Collins who passed away on August 11, 1994.
June is survived by; eight children; Charlotte Bratten, Kirk (Barbara), Karen (Ken) Bruvold, Brian, Lionel (Jodie), Wade (Anne), Chris (Heather) Sandra (Russell) Tompkins; her Mother Marie Pachel; brothers; Vernon (Bebbs) Taskey, Terry (Eddoe) Taskey; sister; Judy (Gary) Croft; 24 grand children; 37 great grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren.
