March 18, 1933 - April 13, 2020
Cynthia "Cee" (Lingford) Stubbins loving wife, fabulous mother and fun friend passed April 13, 2020, not to her many heart and kidney complications but to an infection she could not fight. In true Cee fashion, once she knew, she made it happen and passed quickly and peacefully with the love of her life Bob at her side. Cee was born March 18, 1933 in Salmon Arm and her childhood home continues to stand on Shuswap St. Cee met Bob, a very handsome young man from New Westminster in high school and never looked back.
After graduation Bob and Cee married and then Cee became a Physchiatric Nurse working at Esendale Pyschiatric Hospital until she became a mom of 4 in exactly 5 years. Bob & Cee resided in New Westminster and spent summers here at "the lake" where they retired in a beautiful Stubbins built home with Cee's lovely gardens. She enjoyed keeping busy with clubs, crafts and quilting and garnered many friendships throughout her 87 years. Cee was the daughter of the late Reginald (Rex) Lingford who's "old time" photos you see around town and someone she was very proud of.
Cee was also very proud of her family - husband Bob of 67 years; children Bob (Christine), Diana (Graham), Tim (Kathy) and Carolyn (Bruce). She was "Gramio" to her oldest granddaughter Cassi (Kevin), Grandma to Lucas, Melissa, Cody, Trisha, Colby, Sydney and Kyle. "GG" to great grandchildren Karson, Justice, Braxton, Madden and Lux. Cee will be missed by many but we know she is at peace with her parents Laura & Rex Lingford and brother Noel.
There will not be a service per her wishes however we are hoping for a celebration of life when "life" can return to "normal".
