David Andrew Fleming, of Steveston, B.C., born January 19, 1949, died December 23, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Snell), their children, Jonathan (Tonya), James (Marie), Grace (Zoltan), David Jr; his mother, Alice, and siblings, George (Janet), Kathy, Bill (Virginia) and half-brother Joseph (Carol). He was predeceased by his father, George, and brother, Paul. David was a proud and devoted grandfather to Joel, Summer, Kyra, Kaya, Ndaya, Hunter, Megan, Jack and Sophia.
David was a businessman and barber, world traveller and adventurer, gardener and chef, historian and story teller. He lived with joy, purpose and peace. A celebration of life will be held at Richmond Alliance Church at 11371 # 3 Road, Richmond, B.C. on January 9, 2010 at 2 pm. David asked that we all wear bright clothes and celebrate his joy and rest in God. He “fought a a good fight, he finished the course, he kept the faith.” (11 Timothy 4:7)
