Del York, 64, of Sorrento, BC, on Oct. 18, 2011, left the world peacefully, surrounded by loving family. His strength, courage, and faith defined his character and he will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
Del leaves his wife Jeannie, sons Chad (Cindy & Ben), Brett (Margarita) York, stepchildren Erin, Cam (Danielle & Caden) & Heather Kuzyk (Andrew Morrissey), parents Alvia York, Owen (Ev) York, sisters Val (Terry) Burns, Cindy (Brad) Semkiw, brother-in-law Jay (Annie) Scholton, and many dear relatives and friends.
We celebrated Del’s life at St. Mary’s Church, Sorrento, BC on Sunday, October 23 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Del’s memory to St. Mary’s Church or the Terry Fox Foundation.
