It is with joy and love that we are saying goodbye to our friend, father and husband, Dirk Kiy. Dirk loved and was loved by this wonderful community of Salmon Arm. There will be an Inukshuk (a safe passage) for Dirk at the Downtown Activity Centre on Friday, December 19 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the UNB Volleyball Alumni Association, the ALS Society of BC or the Dirk Kiy Challenge Foundation for Youth c/o Salmon Arm Partners in Community Leadership at the DAC. Dirk is survived by his parents, Vera and Werner Kiy of Kelowna, brother, Thomas of Calgary, his wife Gerri and theri beautiful children, Spencer and Maiya of Salmon Arm. There will be a Celebration of Life in the spring - Dirk didn’t like winter!
