It is with such sadness that we announce the passing of Don E. Sillars of Kamloops (formerly of Blind Bay, BC, and Burnaby) on July 17th, 2018 at 80 years of age.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette, children Kent (Julie) Sillars, of Langley, BC, Deanna (Roland) Kemperman, of Cranbrook, BC, and stepchildren Jamie Ramsey, of Chilliwack, BC, and Krista (Brian) Halland, of Kamloops, BC. Also left to cherish Don's memory are grandchildren Braedon, Spencer, Taylor, Sam (Angela), and Scott (Katie), step-grandchildren Chris (Breanna), Matt, Adam (Lauren), and Blayne, great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Aubrey, April, and Micah, brother Roy (Dolores) Sillars, sister Jean Holter, and sisters-in-law Linda and Shelley, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Don was predeceased by his father Lewis Sillars, mother Idelle Sillars, sister Phyllis Johnston, and brothers-in-law Al Johnston, Murray Bezanson and Scottie Holter.
A Celebration of Donald's life will take place from 1-4 pm, Saturday, September 1st, 2018, Sandman Signature Langley Hotel (Willoughby Room), 8828 201 St, Langley, BC.
