Donna Generous passed away peacefully on August 11, 2016 with her daughter and niece Jennifer Turnbull by her side. She was born in Pouce Coupe, British Columbia to Donald and Jannet Generous. Her lifes journey took her throughout BC finally settling in Enderby. Her final year was spent in Salmon Arm.
She is survived by her only child, daughter Robyn Olson (Marty Gairdner), 3 Grandchildren, Chloe, Bryce, and Connor. Brothers Darwin (Francis) Generous, Deryle (Lisa) Generous, and Devon (Cheryl) Generous; Sisters Diana Turnbull and Debra (Floyd) Eby. Further survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Donald and Jannet Generous and brother-in-law James Turnbull.
Her passion was the armed forces spending many years in the Reserve Forces working as an officer with the Cadet program. A very special thank you to all the staff at Piccadilly Care Centre for providing such compassionate and supportive care in her final days.
A celebration of life will be held September 17, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Enderby Legion, 909 Beleveder St. Enderby BC.
