It is with great sadness that the family announces that Donna passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 1st, 2015.
Donna was born in Hanna, Alberta in March 1924. She became a Registered Nurse, met her husband and started in family in Alberta, then moved to Salmon Arm in the fall of 1964.
Donna worked at Shuswap Lake General Hospital and raised her family in the Salmon Arm area until she and Alvin moved to Vancouver Island in the late 1970’s. A vibrant and strong wife, mother, sister and grandmother, she leaves behind many happy memories of our times together. She will be sadly missed.
Donna is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of 67 years Alvin and their children Glenn (Gerry), Michell (Bev), Lisa (Steve), Melinda, Joanne (Darryl); grandchildren Chad, Kristie, Anna-Marie, Jeff, Darrell, Erin, Glynnis, Seamus, Cayley, Delaney, Ella, Amelia; and countless great grandchildren.
