It is with deep sadness, that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Doris Thelma Hall at Bastion Place, Salmon Arm B.C., at the age of 83. She is now resting peacefully.
She is survived by her loving children, Ian (Anne), Terry (Margot), Adrian (Estelle), Angela (Mark), and grandchildren Yanna, Emma, Fawn (Lee), Lauren, Matthew, and Lacy.
Doris loved her family passionately, they were and are her life. She is proud of her children and grandchildren, and often told them so.
Doris is predeceased by her husband Keith on January 1/1989. Since that date, Doris has lived in Salmon Arm, B.C.
Doris spent a lot of time singing with the United church choir,and was actively involved with the Sons of Norway.
The family wishes to extend our most sincere thanks to all of her many friends and acquaintances, of whom she often spoke of with such joy and fondness.
Mom was a generous and hospitable person, with a warm smile and infectious giggle. She loved life, her family, and friends.
We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Bastion Place, where they went above and beyond. Your love and kindness, and the excellent care you gave to our mother will never be forgotten. Thank You!
She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
A Celebration of Life for Doris will be held, in the summer of 2012, at Cypress Hills Provincial Park, Saskatchewan.
In lieu of flowers, please offer a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Mom is now gone from this earthly world but will never leave our hearts.
