Dorothy Anne Brooke Lindsay passed away peacefully at Bastion Place, Salmon Arm, BC on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the age of 90 years.
Anne was born in Simonstown, South Africa on March 18, 1918 and had resided in Salmon Arm for the past 40 years. She had cerebral palsy and she accepted her disability. Throughout her life she had a warm and cheerful disposition and through her personality, she was an inspiration to those who knew her.
Anne was predeceased by her parents, Lionel and Joan Lindsay and her sister, Mary Michell. She is survived by her numerous cousins worldwide.
A celebration of Anne’s life was held at Bastion Place on Monday, April 14th at 3:00 pm. Interment of Anne’s cremated remains will follow at a later date in the family plot at Mount Ida Cemetery, Salmon Arm.
