Duncan Partridge passed away suddenly at his residence in Salmon Arm, BC on Monday, January 11, 2009 at the age of 90 years.

A celebration of life service was held from the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home, Salmon Arm, on Saturday afternoon, January 16th at 4 p.m. with Jack Bowers the celebrant. Tributes were shared by the family, followed by a reception in the Mountainside room at Bowers. Interment was in Mt. Ida Cemetery beside his wife, Hazel Partridge.

Born in Czar, Alberta on February 21, 1919. Duncan was a very independent man, residing in the Tappen – Kault Hill area for many years and more recently in Ranchero.

He was predeceased by his wife Hazel on February 7, 2008 and his special companion, Corkie, German shepherd dog of 8 years, who passed away within 48 hours of Duncan.

Duncan is survived by his two children, Marie (David) Horvath of Kamloops, Ray (Christine) Partridge of Grindrod; 5 grandchildren, Kathy, Cheryl, Lynne, Neil and Audrey; 5 great grandchildren, Daniel, Haley, Finley, Sadie and Katie; and his sister, Frances Gucwa of Kamloops.
