Egil, "Martin", Sandaker, 84 of Salmon Arm passed away peacefully on Friday November 27, 2020 at Hillside Village.
He was born in Dahlton, Saskatchewan on July 11, 1936 to Egil and Hilda Sandaker.
Martin married Eunice McClellan on April 6, 1956 in Edmonton, Alberta. They moved to Salmon Arm in 1968. "Martie", as he was known, retired in 2000 and is well remembered as a grader operator for the Highways Dept.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Eunice; daughters, Shelly (Miles) Kentel, Arla Babakaiff; grandchildren, Everett (Julie), Miranda (Jamie), Robbie (Braydon) & Owen; great grandchildren, Eva, Novak and Colson; and siblings, Laurel, Joyce, Inez and Doreen.
Martie was a good and gentle man who's loyalty to friends and love of family will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Society of BC.
