Elizabeth May passed away peacefully at Bastion Place in Salmon Arm, BC on Friday, April 23, 2010 at the age of 70 years.
Elizabeth was born in Totton, Southampton, Hampshire, England on February 17, 1940 to Aubrey and May Harding. She had resided in Salmon Arm since 1962 and had worked as a Registered Nurse in the Shuswap Lake General Hospital for many years. Elizabeth was a very active “behind the scenes” volunteer in the community and she had a strong belief that people could make a difference.
Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Bert; three children, Brian (Jamie), Stephanie (Craig) and their son, Sam, Doug (Rachelle); a great many family members and friends.
A gathering to celebrate Elizabeth’s life will be held from the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 4th at 2:00 pm with Brian Standing officiating.
