It with great sadness that the family of Betty Payne announces her passing at Hillside Village, Salmon Arm, BC.
Betty was born in Vancouver BC on October 5, 1928, to parents Robert and Rose Edminston. Betty worked in housekeeping at Shuswap Lake General Hospital for many years.
Betty was predeceased by her husband Art in 2015 her son Mark and son-in-law Gaetan.
Left to mourn her passing and cherish her memory is her family; children; Kevin (Tracey), Jim (Lois), Bruce (Rose), Linda (Dave), Brenda (Bob), together with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday January 6, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Ida Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband Art. A tea will follow in the Mountainside Room at Bowers Funeral Home where family and friends can continue sharing memories.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation or BC Children’s Hospital.
