Mr. Elmer Benjamin Hiller, late of Aldergrove, passed away peacefully after a short and courageous battle with cancer on January 30, 2008 at the age of 68 at MSA Hospital, Abbotsford.

He is survived by his son Todd (Darla) Hiller, step-daughter Vanette (Rob) Dobson, three grandchildren Ashton, Kennedy, and Sawyer, sister Hannah (Lorne) Lund, step-sister Elma Posein, and two nephews Darcy and Stacey Lund.

He was predeceased by his parents William and Emma Hiller, and his wives Marilyn Hiller and Ardith Vowell.

Elmer has left his mark on many places in BC. He helped build many roadways and structures in Salmon Arm and Abbotsford. When he settled down in Aldergrove he worked for Tall Crane equipment for 20 years.

A service of remembrance was held on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Christian Life Assembly, 21277 56th Avenue, Langley with Pastor Egan Roller officiating.

Donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation in Elmer’s memory.
