ELVIE KATHERN BOURELLE

In memory of a loving Mother, Grandmother and dear friend to many.
Elvie is survived by her sisters Elsie, Agnes and brother Hank, children Robin Bourelle and James Doherty, grandchildren Carl and Dustin, great grandchildren Emillie, Nathan and Lena.
Elvie was born in Alaharma, a small village in south western Finland, immigrated to Canada in 1925, settling on a farm in the community of Freedom Alberta, retiring in Canoe B.C. in 1974 where she lived until her final journey, was a loving, caring and very down to earth person who was loved in turn by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
A celebration of her life was held at Canoe United Church, Feb. 26th. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Fischer’s Funeral Services and Crematorium Ltd. Salmon Arm, B.C. EMAIL condolences and share memories at www.fischersfuneralservices.com.
A special appreciation for her daughter Robin for being Elvie’s care giver over the past 10 years and thus was able to remain in her own house until the end.
