Ethel Rigler nee Wild passed away on Friday, October 24, 2009 at the age of 83. She was born July 17, 1925 near Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Her family moved to Sylvan Glade, near Prince George, B.C. in 1930. She lived and worked in the Prince George area until 1964. She then married Les Rigler and moved to Vancouver. In 1968 they moved to Grindrod, where they resided until 1984 when they again moved, this time to Silver Creek. It was the following year that Les was killed in an accident. After that, Ethel lived with her son Brian until shortly before her death. She bravely fought bladder cancer for nine years. She was a beloved wife, mother and friend. She was predeceased by her parents John and Ethel and her brother William. She is survived by her son Brian.
