May 13, 1947 - April 29, 2022
In loving memory of my mother Evelyn Jean Marie Marchiel. She was born May 13, 1947, and passed away on April 29, 2022, in Salmon Arm, BC. Mom is leaving behind her partner Rod, son Justin (Diana), and her 2 grandchildren, as well as many extended family members.
Evelyn grew up in a Montmartre, Saskatchewan. After graduation she moved to Alberta and worked in jewelry, dental, and banking. Evelyn moved to Chase in the early 1980's where she continued banking but eventually changed careers and worked in insurance. Living in a small town (Chase), Evelyn was a friend to everyone and always had a smile and great story to share. She always loved a good joke or a game of cards. Retirement brought Evelyn closer to the North Shuswap and then eventually to Salmon Arm to be closer to her grandchildren. Nana will be missed dearly.
