With sadness we announce the passing of Florence Evelyn Rozenberg, (nee Nelson) at The Harrison, Surrey BC. Born in Camrose, AB, she grew up near Bawlf, later moving to Camrose, and then Wetaskiwin. Florence lived in Okanagan Falls from 1967 to 1978, and Salmon Arm rom 1978 to 2017.
In her retirement, she enjoyed many hours creating her pressed floral artwork and needlepoint. Florence was known for her kindness and warm smile. Her family and many friends will dearly miss Florence. Predeceased by her parents, Olgar and Clara Nelson. Predeceased by husband, Harmen Rozenberg. Survived by sisters, Lorraine and Lois, Camrose, AB; predeceased by brother, Arvid.
Survived by children, Carolyn (John), Abbotsford; Randy (Patti), Chilliwack; Marilyn, Kelowna; Maureen (Bill), White Rock. Predeceased by granddaughter, Christena, Abbotsford. Survived by grandchildren Creacia, Victoria; Zacharia, Kelowna; step-grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer and Melodie. Predeceased by stepsons George, Gary (Anita). Survived by stepson Ron (Elaine), Houston; step-grandchildren, Sheila, Jessica, Barbara, Tanya, Christopher, Jacob, Patrick and Shanon. Survived by cherished friend, Mirella of Salmon Arm, many nieces, nephews, step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren.
A Memorial Tea will be held on June 2, 1 pm at Bowers Funeral Service, Salmon Arm, followed by an interment ceremony with eulogy by Reverend Fleming. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elim Christian Care Society, Surrey, BC.
