FLORENCE LORRAINE DEVITTE
FEBRUARY 21, 1917 - MARCH 9, 2011
We are sad to announce Flo’s passing in her 94th year. Flo had a full and varying life from her birth in England to joining the R.A.F. at the start of WWII where she maintained the information records of the air pilots, crews and planes. From there she was a missionary in South Africa for several years, to working in the British embassy in the USA to moving to Clearwater, BC and finally to Salmon Arm, BC.
Flo was an accomplished horse woman winning awards throughout the years of riding. Flo was predeceased by her only child in 1960 and her husband Laurence (Laurie) Vincent Devitte in 2006.
Flow is survived by her step-children Frank Devitte, Brian (Carol) Devitte, Robert (Tina) Devitte as well as Bunny (Doug) Smith.
