Florence Margery Haslop passed away peacefully at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm, on Thursday, May 1, 2008, at the age of 91 years. Born in Edmonton, AB, on November 30, 1916, Marg had been a resident of the Salmon Arm and Blind Bay areas since 1978.
Predeceased by her husband, Charlie, in 2002, Marg is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and Alex Bignell of Duffield, AB; brother, Dick Hancock of Edmonton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no formal funeral service. A family graveside service with interment of her cremated remains will take place in Ferintosh, AB at a later date.
