It is with great sadness we announce that Gary A. Gerlinsky (Salmon Arm, BC), passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 67. Gary is survived by his wife Rose, son Ajay (Caylee), daughter Joy (Ross), 3 granddaughters and a grandson.
Gary was born in Thunder Bay Ontario, and is predeceased by his parents Mabel and Arnold. He was loved by family, relatives, friends and co-workers.
Gary retired from ABC Transmission in Surrey in 2018 as a mechanic and charge hand, and was thoroughly enjoying each retirement day. He was a member of International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers, Lodge #692.
He belonged to the Studebaker Drivers Club Inc. and was restoring and driving his 61 Studebaker truck with great passion. He was a member of the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church and volunteered with the Red Cross in Salmon Arm.
The family extends thanks to everyone for their love, prayers and expressions of condolence. Gary will be remembered as a loving, quiet, caring, gentle, hardworking husband, father, grandfather, uncle, co-worker and friend.
A small gathering will be held @ 1 pm October 8th at Fischer's Funeral Services, 4060 1st Ave. SW, Salmon Arm. COVID protocols will be in place.
