Geoffrey Eric Collins passed away peacefully in his sleep at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm, BC at the age of 93 years.
He was predeceased by the love of his life, Emma Collins, his wife of 56 years, on June 15, 2016. Geoff was also predeceased by his parents and his brother, Brian Collins.
Geoff was born in New Westminster, BC. After completing school in Oak Bay, BC, he volunteered for the Canadian Army. He served his country in World War II, serving with distinction in Europe. Geoff had a career in banking and lived in many different cities of BC.
Geoff loved travelling with Em, gardening and playing bridge. With his gentle, caring nature and friendly smile, he will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and great nieces, great nephews and his many friends.
