We are so very sad to announce the passing of George Charles Ginn at the Salmon Arm Hospital July 18, 2019. George was born October 26, 1933 to Ivor and Annie Ginn in Enderby, BC and grew up in the Deep Creek area.
George enjoyed life on his farm in the Hadow Road area and was also occupied with logging on Mount Ida for many years. George loved being in the woods and greatly appreciated the many things in nature. George passed with regret, strength, spirit, hope and love.
George was predeceased by his parents Ivor and Annie Ginn, his son Peter Patrick, sisters Christine and Kathleen, and brother Lawrence. George is survived by his loving wife Ruth Ginn, and his children: Catharine (Kelly)Giesbrecht, Matthew (Sandra)Ginn, Marion (Gary)Fischer, Nancy (Jim)Adams, Daniel (Elise)Ginn, Sarah (Richard)Brodland, Heather Ginn and Timothy (Christina)Ginn. Siblings Betty Barz, Molly (Malcom) Parker, Rose (Don)Short, Margaret (Don)Robertson, Gwen Pipe,Trevor (Annalise)Ginn, Pat Ginn, Linda (George)Turi; George is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life is to be held at Bowers Funeral Home in Salmon Arm, 440 10 th street SW Salmon Arm, BC on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 2 pm with tea to follow in the reception room.
