With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father, grandfather, brother and son.
George leaves behind and will be remembered by his wife Donna and their two children Derek (Megan) and Lorissa (Nick) along with his grandchildren Emma, Chloe, Leah and Michael.
He will also be greatly missed by his father Gaele (Dorothy) and siblings John, Paul (Tena), Gerry, Allen (Christine), David (Charlene), Alice (Otto) along with many other extended family and friends. He is predeceased by his mother, Pearl.
George was born in Invermere, B.C. and grew up on the family dairy farm in the Fraser Valley. George and Donna and their children lived in various places throughout their life together. Visalia, California, Deroche, BC, Ponoka, AB and in 2006 they moved to Salmon Arm.
George loved living in the Shuswap. Boating on the lake, Wednesdays on the Wharf, riding his motorcycle, camping with family and friends and meeting new people.
George had a huge heart and touched many people. He will be greatly missed. His funeral service will be held on March 10th at 11:00 am at the Cornerstone Christian Reformed Church in Salmon Arm.
