It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of George Sperle on Sunday, October 11th, at Hillside Village in Salmon Arm.
George and his wife, Betty, moved to Salmon Arm with their three daughters, Darleen, Alice, and Nancy in 1955 to open "Sperle's Cleaners" on Front Street.
During the 14 years of residence at that time, George gave freely to community organizations including the town council and the Kinsmen Club.
After Betty's passing in 2000, George returned to Salmon Arm, renewing a friendship with long-time acquaintance, Joyce Cummings. The family is grateful for the love they shared for the past 20 years.
