(George) Murray Bruce of Salmon Arm, BC passed away suddenly on March 31, 2011 at the age of 73.
Murray is survived by his companion Gail, siblings Cliff, Evelyn, Howard, Fred, children Donna Lyons, Dianne Cummings, Charlene Cumming, Arlene Gooch, Kevin Bruce, Karen Lunzmann, Shawn Cummings, 13 grandchildren, five great grandchildren with two more on the way.
He was predeceased by his parents Hilton and Edna Bruce, loving wife Lynn of 40 years, granddaughter Angela Hurting and son in law Merlin Cumming.
Dad was born in Sudbury, Ontario on October 6, 1937 and moved to Tappen, BC in 1967. He worked for the Department of Highways for over 30 years until retiring. Dad loved camping, hunting, fishing, travelling and dancing which he enjoyed with family and friends for many years.
A funeral service and tea was held on April 6, 2011 at the Gleneden Hall in celebration of Murray’s life.
