In loving memory ~
1943 - 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerry Nardi in Kelowna on January 20, 2025. Born in Kamloops, to Otello and Ewdokia (Sirsky) Nardi, Gerry lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to his family.
Gerry is survived by his beloved wife, Joan, and their two sons, Greg (Elizabeth) and David (Kirsten) and his grandsons, Lucas, Spencer, Cameron, Elliot and his sister Tilly and brother Roger (Barbara).
Gerry was pre-deceased by both of his parents and his brother Frank.
Gerry was born and raised in Kamloops and attended St. Ann's Academy. After school Gerry worked at Jim Walsh Plumbing and Heating, and then Craigmont Mines in the accounting Department. Gerry continued to work as an accountant until he retired from School District 83 in Salmon Arm in 1998.
Gerry enjoyed cooking, gardening, sailing, skiing, golfing and more recently, standup comedy.
He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Gerry was known for his kind heart, silly jokes, and unwavering support for those he loved. He touched the lives of many and leaves behind a lasting legacy of warmth and kindness.
At Gerry's request there will be no service and he will be placed at rest at the Hillside Cemetery in Kamloops.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in Gerry's name would be appreciated.
Gerry will always be
remembered and cherished.
