Sadly, after a year long fight with cancer, Gisele fell asleep in death at Bastion Place, Salmon Arm, BC.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gilles, six children namely, Reg, Randy, Janice (Harrington), Ken, Greg and Jason, and seven grandchildren.
Gisele often remarked on the exceptional care she received from the Shuswap Lake Hospital nurses, We Care and Community Care Aides. Thanks to all of you, as well as to Drs’. Theron, Britto, Saab and McKee for your tender consideration toward her.
Gisele, known for her quiet strength, loved her family and her God, Jehovah. She was always eager to share with others her bible-based hope of being resurrected to a restored paradise earth where there will no longer be sickness, pain and death. (Revelation 21:3,4) Until then, she will be greatly missed. As she would say, “Bye bye…for now!”
A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 14, 2011 at 2pm from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 721, 2nd Street SE, Salmon Arm. Tea following. All warmly welcome!
