Gisele Roberge passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at Hillside Village, Salmon Arm, BC on Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at the age of 92 years.
Gisele was born in St. Edouard, Alberta on April 3, 1916. She had lived in Keremeos before moving to Salmon Arm eight years ago.
Gisele was predeceased by her husband, Wallie, in 1997. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Alcide (Jean) Roberge of Burnaby, Lucille Plante of Coquitlam, Romeo (Peggy) Roberge of Salmon Arm and Henry (Susan) Roberge of Armstrong; 29 grandchildren, one great grandson; and one sister, Yolande Valiquette, of McLennan, AB.
A prayer service was held from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Salmon Arm on Sunday evening, February 22nd at 7:00 pm. The funeral mass followed on Monday at 11:00 am, with Father George LaGrange, OMI, the Celebrant.
