November 17, 1932 - May 8, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a lifelong resident of Salmon Arm, Glenn Wilfred Horsley on May 8, 2022.
He was predeceased by his parents Bella and Arthur Horsley, brothers Trevor, Mervin, Arthur, Clifford and sisters Dorothy, Lucy, and Laura. Glenn was the youngest, born November 17, 1932.
Glenn was also predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years Stella Horsley. He leaves behind his precious treasure, his only son Gordon R. Horsley, a brother-in-law Robert Sparkes and a sister-in-law Yvonne Helmer, numerous nieces and nephews and may lifetime friends and co-workers. Glenn was a hard worker and devoted to his family and friends. He was a member of the Okanagan Miniature Horse Club, was a volunteer fireman and a very good handyman. Glenn enjoyed watching hockey and baseball with his son. He liked the outdoors around the farm and was fond of their little boston terrier 'Bea'. We will greatly miss his sense of humour and his compassionate heart.
We would like to thank the nurses and doctors for the wonderful care and support given to Glenn while in the Salmon Arm hospital. Funeral to be determined at a later date.
Online condolences may be sent to Glenn's family through his obituary at www.bowersfuneralservice.com.
