Gordon Allan Betty passed away Saturday, April 9th at Shuswap Lake General Hospital with his wife Beth by his side.
Gordon was born in Bristol, England on September 13, 1935 to Albert and Ivy Betty, and immigrated to Canada in 1967. After living primarily in Alberta Gordon and Beth moved from Kelowna to Blind Bay in 2005.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife Beth, his daughter Laura (Evan) McLeod, of Edmonton, AB and Kirstie (Mike) Seifert of Kelowna, BC and son Ryan Wood of Ladysmith, BC; grandchildren Meagan and John McLeod, Nicola and Amy Seifert and Kaelin Wood; his niece Vicky (Philip) Dominey, Bristol, England. Gordon was predeceased by his brother Donald and sister-in-law Ann Betty, his sister Doreen Hunt and brother-in-law Keith Hunt.
A celebration of life will be held on April 15th at 1:00 pm in Shuswap Lake Estates Lodge, 2405 Centennial, Blind Bay. No flowers by request, donations can be made to the BC SPCA.
